From mid June to early July it never really gets dark in Fairbanks. Typically Fairbanks has long, warm, sunny summer days.
The town of Fairbanks is located in a flood plain. This relatively flat terrain is well suited for riders with little or no experience. The surrounding hills have residential areas and trails that provided more challenging rides. And beyond the surrounding residential areas is wilderness with old mining roads and trails waiting to be explored.
This combination of great weather, paved bike paths, dirt roads and trails makes Fairbanks a great place to go Bicycling during the summer months.
